I came across this news few days earlier but wanna post it here today before I reblog to FB. This is the periodic table likely begin in 2017 according to IUPAC. I first came across Atomic #118 (Still called Uuo as of today) back in late 20th century (I am old) at AP chemistry class and catch my attention since it is the very last element of row 7. with 7s2 7p6 configuration, it belongs to group VII (noble gas) but based on many readings online it is likely a solid at room temperature and pressure. Would definitely like to have someone from Chemistry or Physics background to weight in on this. Alright I am geek here and time to watch some TBBT reruns?
